Venus Viva™ MD is a non-surgical solution for skin resurfacing that corrects signs of skin damage and improves the appearance of acne scars and other scars, stretch marks, rosacea, enlarged pores, deep wrinkles, and uneven skin texture and pigmentation.
Think of it as the smarter evolution of traditional laser resurfacing. CO2 lasers used to be the frontrunner, but these procedures also came with a lot of pain and downtime that could last several weeks, if not longer. Venus Viva™ MD delivers the same results, just with significantly less pain and much lower downtime and unlike lasers, it works for all skin tones — including darker complexions that many resurfacing treatments simply can’t address safely.
Venus Viva™ MD skin resurfacing treatments work with tiny pins that safely deliver heat via NanoFractional Radio Frequency through the skin’s surface. This creates tiny micro-dermal wounds, which the body naturally heals on its own. This process repairs signs of skin damage visible on the surface of the skin. Since the wounds are so small, the treatment is much more comfortable than traditional CO2 lasers, while still producing incredibly visible results.
For enhanced anti-ageing results, your SkinLab provider may also use the DiamondPolar™ applicator alongside your treatment. The DiamondPolar™ applicator uses Multi-Polar Radio Frequency and Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields to produce uniform heat under the skin’s surface. Session length15–30 minutes. Sessions needed 3–4 skin resurfacing treatments per area; 6–8 anti-ageing treatments per area. Time between sessions 4 weeks apart for resurfacing; weekly for anti-ageing treatments Downtime: Most patients experience downtime for 24 hours. After treatment: Avoid makeup, lotions and water on the skin for 24 hours; apply SPF 30+ from day 2. Results last: After your final treatment, results will continue to improve. A touch-up session may be needed approximately every 6 months.
Your skin will be red and feel warm afterward, like a sunburn. This is completely normal and settles quickly. Your SkinLab team will provide you with full aftercare instructions tailored to your skin and treatment type.
For wrinkle reduction treatments, results will continue to improve for up to 3–4 months after the final session. Maintenance treatments every 1–3 months are recommended to keep your skin at its best.
